In a nutshell, Bagdad is good. There isn't much to pick on with this team. They hit hard, execute, and play a very balanced offense. Defensively, they were able to keep a typically potent St David offense stagnant for a good portion of the scrimmage.
St David is big. They are going to muscle a lot of teams around this season, and they have a freshman QB with a great arm. If they can give him time to air out the ball, we could see a resurrection of the old St David shoot-out style offense. They definitely have that potential with their size on the o line. Bagdad is just too big and fast, and were constantly blowing up plays in the backfield. St David may have some trouble with quicker/faster teams this year, but they are well coached and have the size to be dangerous.
All in all, I was really impressed with what I saw. Bagdad looks to me like the team everyone is expecting them to be, and St David has the tools to be a very solid team.
