Game over. Great test for Bagdad. They got a little winded just before the half due to the heat, but were able to come back in the second half with a second wind. Great job of the coaching staff with the extra conditioning and hydration methods. I liked it so much better when the D6 playoffs were in Prescott. It was 80 degrees here in the valley at game time.
GC played good football tonight against the best team in D6 currently. #11 and #22 played well and are tough kids. It will be difficult for GC to replace them next year. However, the game simply ran away from them in the 2nd quarter.
No kidding fbfan99, I would take a game played in 80 degree weather in Phx over anything Prescott has to offer (weather, facilities and accommodations). I can't think of a single thing that I like better about playoffs in Prescott.
I agree with Chapo. I liked it better when the playoffs were in Prescott. One, Prescott does not have a D6 school so this would truly be a nuetral site. Two, valley teams who are used to the heat, would have to play in different elements. Football is a fall sport! I would like to see how Valley Teams hold up in cold football weather rather than in baseball weather.
