I have seen williams play twice now and can tell you this, they have speed on this team. they have very good skill players lots of weapons on offense and play calling that spreads the ball to the playmakers. on defense their speed really makes a difference, a little undersized they are physical and fly to the football. Its early but i feel this team could surprise.
Agreed Williams is very fast, many different weapons. Chino had some success running the ball especially at Williams right side a little soft there. Williams plays hard, qb throws a nice ball, and has some speed. Chino struggled in the backfield fumbles, and confusion. Good win for Williams.
I dissagree with you chopped.chino was over matched talent wise in every aspect of the game. The only thing they had going for them was running up the middle, and williams made an adjustment and shut that down.Coaching could be part of the problem, but it all boils down to talent.
Valley Lutheran is tough, as I suspected. SD had two TD's called back on what most would objectively call offical error. Poorly officiated game with significant mistakes on both sides, but turned out to hurt SD more. Still, VL won the game and should do well this year. Experience and fortitude turned out to be strengths for VL as they turned things around after it looked like a replay of last year, getting beat up and beat down early. They came back and exploded in the third quarter. VL is also rather deep with 16 seniors and lots of skill players. It was a good game, and closer than the score indicated. First SD regular season loss at home since 2008.
