Chaparral DB Colby Targun had a huge night helping the Firebirds beat then undefeated Mesquite. He had 3 INTs and returned 2 for scores.


*Basha's Kyle Duran was 7 for 10 for 229 yards and 3 TDs.

*Chandler's Brett Hundley had 233 yards rushing and 2 scores on the ground, while passing for 98 yards and another TD versus Mesa.

*In a loss to Hamilton, Mt. Ridge QB Hunter Young passed for 305 yards.

*North Canyon QB Dominic Portocarrerro passed for 302 yards and 6 TDs versus Corona.

*Saguaro's Teddy Ruben passed for 190 yards, rushed for 156 and had 4 TDs against Peoria.

*Apollo junior Jon Brown had 192 yards passing, 110 yards rushing and accounted for 4 times.

*Cactus Shadows sophomore Bryce Kinsler went 20 out of 29 for 362 yards and 4 TDs.


*Mountain Pointe's Isaac Kartz rushed for 214 yards and 1 score in their win over Desert Vista

*Millennium's DeAnthony Easley had 209 yards and 4 TDs rushing and 74 yards receiving in the Tigers' win over St. Mary's.

*Mike Contreras from Boulder Creek scored 4 times against Desert Mountain.

*Marcos RB Anthony Shivers got in the endzone 4 times against Deer Valley.

*Lashunn Norris from Cactus also scored 4 times against Dysart.

*Arizona Lutheran's Ben Grams rushed for 243 yards and 4 TDs in their win over Camp Verde.


*North Canyon's Anas Hasic continues to tear up the field, in the Rattler's win over Corona, Hasic had 7 catches for 136 yards and 3 TDs.

*Cactus Shadows duo Cameron Larsen and John Leonard had 2 TDs a piece and had 159 and 118 yards receiving respectively.

Special Teams/Defense

*The Chandler defense recorded 12 sacks versus Mesa.

*Scottsdale Christian DT Luke Siwek had 3 sacks against Valley Christian.
