Westview got a score in before the 1st quarter ended as Ryan Martinez hit Storm Donahue from 15 yards out. 28-14.

Although the two offenses play contrasting styles, Westview kept with the pace. Johnson raced in from 69 yards out. 28-20 as the PAT was no good.

But it was all Westview in the second half as their offense played ball control and the defense locked things down. Jalen Johnson scored for the third time to tie the game at 35 on the first drive of the half. Westview forced a punt and went down and kicked a FG to take their first lead of the game, 38-35, early in the 4th quarter.
