Game Recap: Centennial v. Deer Valley

The Coyotes roll to a 35-7 win over the Skyhawks in a big West Valley match up

Breakdown

This game had the makings of a great one. Two top fives teams, just miles apart, players leaving one school for the other, a new rivalry has been started.

Deer Valley forced a Centennial punt and proceeded to drive the field but turned the ball over on downs and it was all Centennial from there.

The Coyotes built a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter on a Dedrick Young TD run from 55 yards out and on a 31 yard Isaac Steele to Daniel Smith TD pass.

Yong added another TD in the 2nd quarter and Centennial took a 21-0 lead into half time.

Steele hit Smith again on a 50 yard bomb in the 3rd quarter and it was 28-0 after 3.

Deer Valley finally got on the board in the 4th on a Jordan Bradshaw run. Young got his third score of the night in the fourth to give us a final of 35-7.
