#1 Saguaro rolls to a 42-7 victory over #2 ranked Williams Field


Christian Kirk started the scoring off for Saguaro very early in their Thursday night game against Williams Field and the Sabercats never looked back.

Kirk went 76 yards on a TD run to kick the scoring off.

A 21 point 2nd quarter put this game out of reach in the first half. Kare Lyles hit Byron Murphy from 44 yards out, Kamron Johnson plunged in to make it 21-0 and Kirk threw a TD pass to Mike Caddell. 28-0 Saguaro at the half.

Saguaro's offense scored TDs on 4 of their 5 possessions of the half while Williams Field had 3 punts, a missed FG and an INT.

Johnson added a TD to start the second half and Lyles hit Murphy again in the 4th while Williams Field was able to get on the board on a Braden Bushman TD run.

Two weeks in a row, Saguaro has knocked off the #2 team in D3. They are loaded and the clearcut favorite in division-three.

Kirk accounted for 2 TDs, so did Kamron Johnson and Byron Murphy but how about a game ball to the Saguaro defense for holding a very good Williams Field team to just 7 points.
