Week Two Game Previews

Great line up of games that start Thursday with Desert Edge at Paradise Valley

Game of the Week

Centennial at Basha

* Centennial has had a brutal schedule thus far and it doesn't get any easier when they travel to face the undefeated Bears this week. The Coyotes are looking for revenge after taking a loss last year. Two very different brands of football here. Centennial loves to run the football and use play action behind that massive offensive line. Basha has a nice offensive line of their own but loves to throw the rock with four-star junior QB Ryan Kelley.

Games I will be attending

Desert Edge at Paradise Valley (Thurs.)

* #1 versus #2 in Division-Three. Huge early game that features potent offenses. Desert Edge is led by junior QB Tehran Thomas and junior QB Roshaun Johnson. They also have a giant offensive line. Paradise Valley has put up huge numbers with QB Daniel Bridge-Gadd and WR Jacob Brown. Both teams are undefeated and this is the Cox 7 game of the week and should be exciting.

Chandler at Chaparral

* Can Chandler bounce back after losing to an ultra tough Bishop Gorman team? RB Chase Lucas is also out. But the Wolves have plenty of weapons including Mason Moran and N'Keal Harry. Chaparral is riding high after their huge win at Helix last week. What will HC/DC Conrad Hamilton have cooking to stop this potent Chandler O?.
