8 AZ prospects get D1 offers including Isaiah Pola-Mao from USC

Navy offers 5 AZ prospects, Isaiah Pola-Mao lands major offer, several add the first D1 offer and Adams State continues to hand out offers

* 2017 Safety Isaiah Pola-Mao from Mountain Pointe was offered by USC per Pride head coach Norris Vaughan.

Pola-Mao (6-4 200 pounds) also has offers from BYU, Cal, Nebraska, Oregon State, Arizona State, Arizona, Utah, Washington and Washington State.

Isaiah registered 98 tackles and 4 interceptions for the Pride as a junior.

Navy

The Midshipmen came in and offered five prospects on Monday, including four from Saguaro. The four Sabercats offered include OL/DL Sean Seawards, LB Carson Nugent, LB/TE Kyle Soelle and OT Jax Wacaser.

This is the first D1 offer for for Seawards, who recently transferred to Saguaro from Boulder Creek. Seawards (6-3 315) was a 1st team all-section player at Boulder Creek while making 58 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

This is the third D1 offer for Nugent, 10th for Soelle and third for Wacaser. Soelle also has been offered by New Mexico, NAU, Colorado State, San Diego State, Army, UNLV, Nevada, San Jose State and Hawaii. Wacaser has Army and Hawaii while Nugent has Army and NAU.

Chandler LB/LS Sam Pepper was the fifth Arizona prospect to receive an offer from Navy. This too, is Pepper's first D1 offer.

Pepper (6-2 215) was named honorable mention all-section as a junior after making 58 tackles and 2 sacks. He was a 1st team all-section snapper.

2018 QB Jack Plummer from Gilbert High received his first D1 offer from New Mexico State.

Plummer (6-5 185) was a 2nd team all-section pick as a sophomore last year for the Tigers. He threw for 1,577 yards and 16 TDs.

* Gilbert (Ariz.) Higley TE/WR Bryce Gilbert was offered by New Mexico State.

Gilbert also has offers from San Diego State, Colorado, Louisville, Oregon State, Nebraska, Hawaii, Arizona State and Arizona.

Gilbert (6-5 230) had a productive junior season for Higley, catching 65 passes for 1,056 yards and 16 scores.
