First Offers

A couple of Arizona players flying under the radar received FBS offers today.

Perry long snapper Adam Higuera was offered by Tulsa.

Higuera (6-2 225) is ranked as the #2 snapper in the country.

American Leadership - Queen Creek looks to have their first D1 player ever.

TE/DE Donovan Hanna was offered by BYU. On staff at ALA is former BYU quarterback Max Hall.

Hanna (6-5 230) made 14 tackles and 2 sacks as a junior. He is also an all-state basketball player.

Lucky 21

Saguaro safety K.J. Jarrell received his 21st scholarship offer. It came from SEC program Vanderbilt.

Illinois Hitting the Grand Canyon State

The Fighting Illini have recruited mainly the junior colleges in Arizona in the past but are making a run at high school players.

Today Illinois offered Higley TE Bryce Gilbert, Saguaro TE Jared Poplawski and 2019 DT Matthew Pola-Mao from Mt. Pointe. 

They previously extended offers to Saguaro's K.J. Jarrell, North Canyon OT Austin Jackson, Desert Ridge DE Jalen Harris, Chandler WR Kolby Taylor, Mt. Pointe safety Isaiah Pola-Mao and Sunrise QB Chase Cord.

University of Mary

The D2 program made some noise in Arizona today offering three linemen.

Saguaro's Brandon Boyce and Sean Seawards were offered as was Mt. Ridge DT Gabe King. This is the first offer for King.
