Tempe (Ariz.) High School defensive end My-King Johnson has caught fire and hauled in some major college offers this week.
Already holding scholarship offers Utah State, Arizona State, New Mexico, Arizona, UNLV and Nevada, Tempe head coach Brian Walker tells 24-7Football.com that Texas A&M and Oregon offered him over the past few days.
Johnson has shown the ability to get to the quarterback, racking up 22 sacks to go along with 44 tackles as a junior. But his development over the past year is what has major college programs excited.
Johnson was listed last year at 210 pounds but has gained 20 pounds to add to his 6-foot-4 frame. His length and frame will allow him to pack on more pounds.
