A look at the top games headed into Week 4

Game of the Week

Desert Edge at Mesquite

Mesquite is one of the surprise teams, currently undefeated under new HC Chad DeGrenier. DeGrenier has been known as a pass happy coach but the Wildcats are having success running the rock, with four players going over the 100 yard mark already on the season. We know Desert Edge runs the ball behind their massive offensive line and three-headed monster Tehran Thomas, Roshaun Johnson and Rocky Perez.

Games I Will Scout

* Thurs- Desert Mountain at Basha (Cox 7 Game of the Week)

Both teams are searching for their first win. Both QBs are putting up huge numbers. Desert Mountain's Austin Nuessle to Kade Warner versus Basha's Ryan Kelley to Terrell Brown. This game could have video games like numbers on offense.

* Fri- Highland at Westview

Westview has been tough this year, led again by RB Tyler Vasko who is averaging over 200 yards per game. Highland is led by four-star recruit Tyler Johnson. The Hawks have had close contests in three of their four games. They are currently 2-2.
