Player Profile 2005 - Drew Thurston

You want a tough Football player, a tough Basketball player, or a tough Track & Field athlete? How about a straight A student? How about all of them - meet Drew Thurston.

Banger. This kid does it on the football field, does it on the court, and does it on the track. He also does it in the classroom with straight A's. The super smart "three-sport athlete" isn't dead yet. He goes to Dobson High, and his name is Drew Thurston.
At 6'5", 225 pounds of solid muscle, Thurston is leading his Dobson Mustangs this season into the 5A Top Ten in Arizona. Thurston possesses qualities very few athletes have, complete dedication and determination to help his team, no matter what the sport. Thurston has put up some incredible numbers this season, leading his team in scoring and rebounds. He has also been on several top club teams, winning a State AAU Championship and National ARC Championship with the Arizona Stars.
The sky is the limit for this special kid, wonder which major college (and sport) will land this true "student-athlete"?
