2005 Player Profile: Roy McLemore

Roy McLemore may be the most underrated player in the state. We're here to change that. What this kid can do on the court in nothing short of amazing.

Roy McLemore is a 5'11, 160lbs junior combo guard on Carl Hayden High School's varsity basketball team. He averages 17 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. What's even more amazing is that he does this with another top notch guard in his same backcourt, Darnell Terry.

Together, these two players make up one of the most potent backcourts in the state. McLemore possesses the all mighty thing called athleticism. It has been reported that he has a vertical that reaches upward of 39". And if you watch him play, you think he is going to explode over the backboard. Like his teammate Terry, McLemore has fallen under the radar due to a Carl Hayden team that is not playing at the level as they have been know to be at in the past. This doesn't stop McLemore from doing what he has to day in and day out to help his team fight in each and every contest.

McLemore was selected first team all region last season for the Falcons, and has been playing at a high level on varsity since his freshman year. He carries a 3.0 GPA. McLemore's goal is to attend college and play basketball and major in business management. Stay tuned for more on this amazing athlete.
