Rincon dominated every facet of the ballgame. They executed their plays to perfection, the line blocked beautifully for the entire game, and the Rangers offense and defense came up big in the 36 point rout.
Conversely, nothing went right for Santa Rita.

The Rangers used a bevy of running backs to compile 327 total rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. The Rangers had 336 total offensive yards, therefore the running game accounted for around 97% of Rincon's total yards. The Rangers scored all their touchdowns via the rushing attack. Rincon's first, with 9:35 left in the opening quarter, came in on the legs of senior Duane Cuspard. Cuspard finished the night with 116 yards on 14 carries. He [Cuspard] found the end zone 3 times.
The Rangers didn't have to rely solely on one back to carry the load. Senior Abelardo Llamas contributed 91 yards on 10 carries; senior Nick Carbajal had 30 yards and two touchdowns. Also, senior David Malboeuf had 25 yards and one touchdown.
For Santa Rita, their only score of the night came on a 1-yard sneak by quarterback Jeremy Killham.
Killham once, setting up their fourth rushing touchdown of the night with 9:55 left in the third quarter.
Though scoring the majority of their points in the first (14) and third (21) quarters, the Rangers spread their touchdowns out, scoring 3 times in each half.
