This week's edition of the best Arizona has to offer!!!!!

 

Let's start off with Sean Michaels from Lake Havasu who added 268 yards and 6 touchdowns to his resume in a 68-27 win over Cactus Shadows.  In the independent league playoffs Basha's Zack Zolin rushed for 221 yards and 3 scores in a win over Desert Edge.  How about Eric Beltran from Coronado who put up 251 yards and found pay dirt 3 times on just 10 carries for the victorious Dons.  Representing the little guys this week, is Tombstones Dwayne Thomas who eclipsed the 300 yards mark with 318 yards on the ground and 5 scores in a 49-7 win over Bourgade.  Millennium's all purpose back Aaron Gentry had 250 total yards and 4 touchdowns leading his team to victory and a playoff birth.  Buckeye's Dylan Maki rushed for 185 yards and 4 scores in a win for the Hawks on Friday.  Stat line of the week goes to TJ Reid of Cesar Chavez who was all over the field, he had 76 yards rushing on just 4 carries, he also threw for 2 touchdowns and if that wasn't enough, he pick one off and took it to the house 70 yards in a 51-14 win over Central. 

 

We try to give credit to everyone at this site, this week a little love for a kicker give it up for Mt. View kicker Ken Gollady who nailed a 53 yarder for the victorious Toros on Friday night.

 

Team of the Week: This week's team believes in defense, Thatcher high is our pick this week for recording its 8th shutout of the season in a 34-0 victory over Williams on Friday.

 

Lastly, hats off to everyone who made our lists during the regular season and also to the kids who we just missed sorry.  Congratulations to all the teams in Arizona on a very, very good regular season, here's looking to the postseason.
