Arizona Clubs Headed to Sin City

The Arizona Magic, Arizona Stars, Arizona CTB, the Arizona Cagers, Arizona Cagers-Rage, Team Phoenix and the Schneider All Stars headline a number of Arizona Clubs headed to Sin City. Check out each teams schedule, and look for player evaluations all weekend long...

It's Showtime!  Fourteen 17U Arizona club teams head to Las Vegas to participate in the first evaluation period of 2005.  Hundreds of college coaches will be watching starting on Saturday April 16.  The NCAA only allows evaluations on weekends during the school year, so all the teams in the LV Showcase will be playing up to 4 games that day.  We will have updates throughout the weekend starting Friday night.

Comments on the top AZ teams headed to Sin City:

Arizona Magic:  Has best talent from top to bottom. Bayless gets his chance to shine.  Polk needs to have strong showing to redeem his elite status.  Kamp will be the hot topic among high majors who get a first look.  Rodgers could emerge as best wing propect in class of 06.

Arizona Stars:  Kal Bay will have over 25 coaches at their first game Saturday.  Including many high majors.  Coble needs to perform as elite status is on the line.  Wilson will generate a buzz.

Arizona CTB:  After a quarterfinal finish in the Las Vegas Easter Classic, Mike Martin, Devin Stewart and TJ Topercer have heard the phone ring a plenty.  Plus Desert Mountain's 6-7 Kevin Hassett (2006) and Westwoods Paul Mallory (2006) are out to prove their worth at the DI level.  Hassett has Ivy League written all over him.  2 Ivy's are already on his trail.

Arizona Cagers: Rodney Brown, Steve Hudson and David Jackson (2006) are coming off a BCI Championship.  Their first draw, Double Pump #1 pit themselves against the infamous Lawrence Westbrook, a 5-10 two guard who after the season ruined his chances of respect by saying what he did in IN THIS ARTICLE,   The Cagers have just added Miichael Broom as well.

Arizona Cagers-Rage:  Sean Imadyi is quietly developing a rep.  Scout.com Recruiting expert Greg Hicks has already put him on his radar.

Southwest Rebels:  DJ Nicholas could land on some top 10 wing lists with a big showing.  Guard
Matt Rosinski is not far behind.  PG Brock Entner has caught the eye of "Super Scout" Dave Telep of scout.com.

Schneiders All Stars:  Led by David Schneider, a 06 guard from Brophy.  Coached by Dad Jeff Schneider.  Not sure who else on the roster, but we will have breakdowns on all.  I hear David has been offered by USC, North Carolina State etc...

Team Phoenix:  Eric Hipolito (2006) and Demetrious Crowell (2006) headline the potentials.  Throw in Shane Edwards and all 3 have a big opportunity in Vegas.  Athletic team who will win games this summer!
