After a strong sophomore campaign, Daniel was sidelined last season with an injury. As his senior year approaches, Daniel is eager to get back on the field with his Westview team. Daniel currently holds a 4.02 GPA and is getting attention from Ivy League schools.
24-7: What is your favorite thing about playing high school football?
Daniel Crowe: My favorite thing about high school football would have to be the closeness of our football family. I can trust my life with one of my football brothers, we are always there for one another.
24-7: What is your official height and weight?
Daniel Crowe: 6'0 213
24-7: What is your greatest football memory?
Daniel Crowe: When I picked off a pass and ran it back 83 yards in my first Pop Warner game.
24-7: What are your personal goals for the upcoming season?
Daniel Crowe: Play 14 weeks with my brothers.
24-7: How are you preparing for the upcoming season? Will you attend any camps this summer? Have you gone to any combines? How did you do.
Daniel Crowe: I am working out with my team 3-5 times a week. I have attended the ASU camp and did well, I was signed up for the UofA camp but was not able to attend due to the flu.
24-7: What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?
Daniel Crowe: I have worked extremely hard on improving my strength. I just want to keep my basics flawless and just play ball and have fun.
24-7: Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
Daniel Crowe: We play as one team, you need to watch out for all 11 players on the field.
24-7: Name one teammate you really respect and why?
Daniel Crowe: I respect Gabe Rubalcaba. I have grown up Gabe since we were little kids, he does not have much natural talent but he works hard and has immense amounts of heart.
24-7: What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
Daniel Crowe: I will play football in college wherever I will prosper at. Not just on the field but in life and in the classroom.
24-7: Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet? Who are your top 5?
Daniel Crowe: ASU, UofA, NAU, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Utah, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, just to name a few. No offers yet but my top 5 are: 1. UofA 2. Stanford 3. Princeton 4. Utah 5. ASU
24-7: Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
Daniel Crowe: I would stay in state to play ball if that is the best move for my family and I.
24-7: Who is the best player you ever played against?
Daniel Crowe: Matt Clapp. Great player.
24-7: Name one team who you really respect and why?
Daniel Crowe: I respect Cactus. They play hard and clean and don't run their mouths like so many teams do nowadays.
24-7: What other sports do you play?
Daniel Crowe: Track, Wrestling, and Tennis
24-7: What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40 yard dash?
Daniel Crowe: Bench 340, Squat 495, Power Clean 295, 40 4.71.
24-7: How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
Daniel Crowe: He would describe me as a coachable kid that plays with heart.
24-7: Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
Daniel Crowe: Tiger Woods. Do I need to say more? He is absolutely amazing. Truly a legend.
24-7: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Who did you receive it from?
Daniel Crowe: My Father says, "Do something right the first time, and it won't need to be fixed."
