Game Balls:

QB Chris Johston of Mountain Ridge. He kept moving and trying to make things happen for his team. Played hard to the very end.

Sherrod Austin of North Canyon. (Accepting for Sherrod will be his O-line).

The North Canyon defense led by Will Oslinsky.  Oslinsky had two sacks, three tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and one pass knock down along with many tackles.

Bottom Line:

Mountain Ridge had no running game. Passing the ball was the only success they had. The Mountain Lions will need to have that running game going if they hope for any success in the play-offs.

North Canyon showed they are a force no matter what division they are in.  Congratulations to them and coach Cole on their undefeated season. The road to 5A 2 championship at Sun Devil Stadium passes through North Canyon High School.
