Evals of prospects from Horizon, Millennium and Agua Fria

Agua Fria

Seniors:

OT Jacob Stucky- At 6'2 250, will have to gain some serious weight to play in at the D1 level. Has decent feet and nasty streak. Plays left tackle for the Owls but might be better suited for RT or guard. Will have to gain some strength as well. Excellent grades make him a serious candidate for Ivy League or Academies.

WR Nick Martinez- 6'0 175. Not extremely fast but makes up for it with good hands and good route running. Not a D1 prospect but another kid with excellent grades that could warrant some interest from the Ivy Leagues.

Juniors To Watch:

FB/DE Everson Griffen- 6'4 260. Every bit as big as his roster size. Is impressive as athlete as there is in the state next year. All region in football, basketball and track as a sophomore. Many teams will run away from him or send a back to chip him in pass pro. Only managed 5 sacks this year, versus 10 as a sophomore. Needs to put his head down and play rather than look for the ball and use his athletic ability to try and make a play. Already has an offer from UofA and expect more as big kids that can run are hard to find.

QB Mitch Wolfe- 6'3 180. Still a little thin and raw. Only his 2nd full season as a starting QB. Followed up good soph. season with solid junior campaign. Threw for 1,500 yards with 15 TDs versus 5 INTs completing 55% of his passes. Good arm. All state baseball player. Mobility is an issue. Another kid who is excellent in the classroom.

WR/DB Rajric Coleman- 6'1 160. Long DB with room to grow. Needs to add some weight to be looked at. Decent speed and good hands. Catches ball with hands and pulls in ball. Had 6 INTs on year. Will be one to watch for next year.

Millennium

Seniors:

RB Aaron Gentry- Good all round athlete but his size limitations will scare college away. Listed at 5'8 166 but might be smaller than that. Has had one of the best all around seasons in the state. Shows the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and has good speed. Strictly a WR or CB prospect in college but might be a JUCO prospect at best because of size.

OLB Corey Forshey- 6'2 210. Long good looking OLB. Has collected 78 tackles. Probable JC prospect.

Horizon

Seniors:

QB Dax Crum- 6'4 210. Very similar to Cactus QB Jon Tobin but a little more athletic and fast and with less arm strength. Definite D1 prospect at least at the mid-major or low major level. Good arm, speed, mobility and pocket presence. Has improved leaps and bounds over junior season. Completing right at 50% of passes which is about 10% higher than last year. Can make all throws.

LB Jordan Hull- Plays middle LB at 6'2 225. Still has a frame to grow. Plays downhill. Solid technician. JUCO prospect will have the chance to go D1 after 2 years.

K/P Stefan Demos- Northwestern commit could play either position in college. Gets good height on punts and has excellent placement ability. Good leg. Kicks most balls into endzone.
