Our Pre-season All State Teams plus honorable mention. Our Pre-season All Southern Arizona coming later this week along with the start of our Top Ten teams...

The 2005-2006 Pre-season All State Team All-State First Team - Pre-season
Kalvin Bay 6-2, PG, 2006 Marcos de Niza
We have Bay as the #1 PG in Arizona.  He will lead the Padres deep in the State playoffs and will battle for State scoring champion. Colorado bound

Christian Polk 6-4, CG, 2006 Deer Valley
Finally out from the shadows of Lawrence Hill (Stanford) and Joey Shaw (Indiana) Polk will show why he is Pac 10 bound.  Great combo guard body! Look for domination throughout 2005-2006.  Arizona State bound

Jerryd Bayless 6-2, CG, 2007 St. Mary's
Best player in Arizona.  Bayless has St. Mary's success riding square on his shoulders.  Will have the Knights in title race come MarchArizona bound

Stephen Rogers 6-8, W, 2006 Mountain View
Best wing in Arizona.  Athletic, can shoot it from 18 and attacks the glass with a vengence.  In our mind Rodgers is the key for Mountains Views repeat chances College Undecided

Harper Kamp 6-7, P, 2007 Mountain View
Last years State MVP.  Favorite to earn honors again in 2006.  The southpaw post has seen his recruitment rise to the High Major level. All-State Second Team

Kevin Coble 6-8, W, 2006 Scottsdale Christian
Best catch and shoot it player in Arizona.  Coble plays in the 2A conference where the competition level will allow him to put up huge numbers.  Northwestern Bound

Tristan Wilson 6-4, W, 2006 Apollo
Helped lead Apollo to last years state championship.  Wilson plays every play like it's his last.  An athletic wing who will have Apollo back in the hunt come MarchSacramento State Bound

David Schneider 6-2, G, 2006 Brophy
Scrappy hard working combo who plays hard every play.  A streaky shooter who can fill it up from deep.  More floor burns than anybody in the State.  William and Mary Bound

Sean Imadiyi 6-7, P, 2006 Corona del Sol
The 6-7 post has improved every year.  Athletic shot blocker who has potential to dominate a game.  Might be the most skilled post in the state behind Kamp.  College Undecided

Zane Johnson 6-6, W, 2007 Thunderbird
Slowed by injuries last year, 2005-2006 will be his breakout year.  A high major recruit who will be a top 10 west coast wing prospect in 2007. All-State Third Team

Kendall Wallace 6-2, PG, 2007 Mountain View
Can Mt. View repeat?  Behind the floor leadership of Mr. Wallace they can. Wallace has what it takes mentally to run the show.  Lets the game come to him. A winner!

Stevie Ledesma 5-9, PG, 2006 Salpointe
It's time for Ledesma to get the recognition he deserves.  A true PG who won't put up big numbers, just gets it done on the floor.  The SoAZ POY candidate is undecided on his college choice.

Will Donahue 6-8, PF, 2006 Mesquite
"The Beast" is the toughest inside the paint player in AZ.  Skill level needs to catch up but he will own the glass in 2005-2006. Donahue is undecided on his college choice

Demetrius Crowell 6-6, W, 2007 Mesa
Look for Crowell to establish himself as a force this season.  Really coming into his own as a top wing west coast prospect 2007and the next "player" to come out of Mesa.

Eric Hipolito, 6-4, F, 2006 Mountain Pointe
The Adrian Dantley of Arizona.  Undersized PF who gets it done.  Will thrive in Coach Sam Ballards program this year and help lead Mt. Pointe to an unbelievable finish in 06.  College undecided.
