Class of 2007 Top Prospects 6-10

A continued look at Arizona's top 25 basketball prospects 2007

This week we continue our basketball coverage with a look at Arizona's Top 25 Prospects Class of 2007. Today prospects 6-10.

Class of 2007 Prospects 6-10:

6.  Demetrius Crowell, 6-7 W Mesa (Ariz) Mesa High School.

Big-bodied four man with very good feet and a high skill level. He's still carrying some baby fat, but he's got a young face and some bounce. He's got very good ball skills. Good stroke with three-point range, passes and handles well. A potential mid to high major prospect from Mesa High

7.  Justin Johnson, 6-8 F Phoenix (Ariz) Brophy High School

Long armed shooter.  Athletic and smart.  Needs to develop more physically but has a great basketball frame.  Ball skills need improvement.  Can stroke it from 3.  Could turn into States #2 prospect come 2007 signing period.

8.  Kendall Wallace, 6-4 SR PG Mesa (Ariz) Mountain View.

Talented prospect that can play either guard spot in college.  Great size for a PG.  Smart playmaker who can hit the open jumper.  Has "Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, UNLV, Arizona State, St. Mary's, Wyoming, Northern Arizona and Penn State," looking at him after the Spring/Summer evaluation period. Teammate of #3 prospect Harper Kamp,

9.  Kramer Knutson, 6-8 SR C Mesa (Ariz.) Dobson High School.

Didn't play in the spring and, as a result, hadn't received much exposure heading into July.  Knutson is drawing interest from a number of mid-major schools with Stanford of the Pac-10 leading the way.

10.  Mickey McConnell, 6-0 SR PG Mesa (Ariz) Dobson High School.

Committed to New Mexico last February.  Solid playmaker who (as a coach's son) knows the game.  Can shoot it from 3, penetrate and dish with the best of them.  Needs work defending against bigger, stronger athletes.
