Barlow Next in Line at Seton Catholic

Michael Barlow, a senior from Seton Catholic, is rising to a top 25 prospect in 2007

Hosea Graham, one of the most respected coaches in Arizona, knows a thing or two when it comes to developing players.  Over the last few years a number of Seton Catholic alumni have gone on to the college level to continue their athletic careers including Matt Refner (Class of 2005) to Northern Arizona and Drew Arnold to Montana State Billing.

Next in line is Michael Barlow, 6-4 SG, Seton Catholic (Chandler, Arizona).

Barlow had a number of Ivy League Schools following him over the summer evaluation period including Harvard and Princeton.  Plus numerous high level DII schools all with high academic expectations.

Like many 6-4 athletes, Barlow has been primarily stuck inside the paint his entire prep career, but playing facing the basket this past summer has helped his recruitment considerably as well as his participation this Spring (2007) playing in the National circuit..  He will play the swing guard spot in college.

Long armed with above average athletic ability, Barlow's strength comes from his ability to shoot it from 3.  He can create his own shots and shoot off the dribble.  Above average ball skills but needs improvement for the LM-MM level…He plays hard for 32 minutes…Can defend bigger stronger athletes in the open court and inside the paint…

Barlow will thrive in 2006-2007 and game experience will enhance his recruitment and college prospects this next Spring.

Look for Barlow to lead Seton Catholic to another run at the 3A State Title in March.
