Nkem Ojougboh Leaves Texas-San Antonio

Former Scottsdale Christian forward heads to Northeastern...

Nkem Ojougboh, 6-9, sophomore forward, has transferred from University of Texas-San Antonio to Northeastern. Ojougboh averaged seven points and 4 rebounds per game as a freshman starter under former UTSA Head Coach Tim Carter and will sit out the 200-07 season.

Carter was fired by UTSA in the spring and replaced by former
Arizona State assistant coach Brooks Thompson to take over the program in June.

Ojougboh received interest from schools such as
Boise State, Wyoming, Washington State, Fresno State and Cal-State Bakersfield.
