West Coast 2007 Rankings: Shooting Guards

Arizona places 3 in top five! One is expected, but 2 others are catapulted into the MM-HM category...

Rankings and evaluation by Greg Hicks:

While there isn't a lot of elite talent on the 2007 West Coast shooting guard list, there is a fair amount of talent well past the top ten. Multiple players outside of the top ten figure to end up at the mid major level or possibly higher. After a stellar junior season and a great summer, Harden was the easy choice for the number one ranking. He's extremely skilled, and a better athlete than most people realize, but it is his feel for the game that separates him from the other players on the list. Bayless is an explosive athlete and he's very good at getting his own shot. Gray might be as good a shooter as anyone on the list. Abbott has really come on in the last year and he can score from multiple spots on the court. Jackson is a versatile prospect who might play some point guard.
