West Coast 2008 Rankings: Shooting Guards

Arizona lands three 2008 shooting guards in the West Coast rankings...

The 2008 West Coast shooting guards have the potential to be a very
solid group. There's elite talent at the top and good depth throughout
the list. There are numerous guys currently outside of the top five who have a chance to end up high major prospects. Holiday is heads and shoulders above everyone else. In fact, he's the best junior guard prospect we've seen since we've been scouting the west. We think he'll be able to play the one as well when he gets to college. Turner has good size, with the ability to score from the perimeter or at the rim. McCollum is a very good shooter with excellent ball skills. He may play point guard in college. Gutierrez is a very good athlete who plays with great intensity. McLaughlin is a smooth-looking wing who showed a very nice feel this past summer.
