QB- Phillip Aholt- Cactus Shadows- Led his team to an undefeated record and state title behind an amazing 3600 yards, 43 TDs and 13 INTs.

RB- Prince Amukamara- Apollo- I don't think anyone will argue this pick if you saw him play this year. Headed to Nebraska next year.

RB- Ray Polk- Brophy- Junior was dynamite, averaging 8 yards a carry, rushing for 1400 yards and scoring 21 TDs.

WR- Victor Gamez- Washington- Can't argue with productivity. Junior accounted for nearly 50% of QB Jon Bowman's yards. Caught 86 balls for 1700 yards.
WR- Kyle Watkins- Cactus Shadows- Caught 88 balls including 21 in the state title game for 1559 yards and 24 TDs.

TE- Aaron Tevis- Canyon del Oro- Most productive TE in 4A tallied 37 catches for over 600 yards and 6 TDs. Boise State got a good one.

OL- Jaivorio Burkes- Moon Valley- Simply manhandled opponents. Road grader is going to Nebraska next year.

OL- Kris O'Dowd- Salpointe- Most dominant OL Arizona has seen in some time. Headed to USC.

OL- Blake Behrens- Brophy- Rare two way starter for Brophy. Takes his game to Colorado.

OL- Zack Schlink- Centennial- One of the most impressive juniors I saw this year. Schlink will be a D1 prospect next year.

OL- Brandon Harris- North Canyon- Two time all state selection was a key to RB Jordan Scott's success.
K- Alex Zendejas- Ironwood- Hit from 59 this year! Takes bazooka foot to UofA next year.


DL- Everson Griffen- Agua Fria- Really stepped his game up this year and lived up to the hype. Recorded 17 sacks and is also going to USC.

DL- Tom Ramsey- Centennial- Stump of a DL had 90 tackles and 10 sacks from his NT spot. One of the most disruptive and active DLs in the state.

DL- Cameron Jordan- Chandler- 80 tackles and 17.5 sacks for college bound DL.

DL- Ridge Nielsen- Mt View- Relentless player had 20 sacks.

LB- Matt Sanford- Hamilton- Was all over the field with 121 tackles and 6 sacks.

LB- Tyler Heagney- Agua Fria- Manned the middle of the Owl D and had 141 tackles and 14 sacks.

LB- Matt Schillington- Sunnyslope- Very productive with over 100 tackles and 9 sacks.

DB- Glenn Love- Hamilton- Not many knew who he was headed into the season. Turned in one of the state's top games in the championship. Ended year with 10 picks. Has multiple D1 offers.

DB- Jordan Scott- North Canyon- Recorded 8 picks on D on top of his offensive numbers.

DB- Justin Higuera- Apache Junction- All everything for AJ had 73 tackles and 11 picks.

DB- Max Tabach- Saguaro- 16 picks, enough said.

P- Jeff Locke- Mt Ridge- Junior averaged over 43 yards per punt.

Return- Rob Brown- Valley Christian- Averaged nearly 28 yards per punt return, 29 yards per kick return and took 6 kicks to the house.

All Purpose- Prince Amukamara- Apollo- 34 TDs, 2100 yards rushing, 452 yards receiving, nearly 100 tackles, 2 INTs, what doesn't he do well?
