Q & A with DE Zeb Togiai from Mountain Pointe HS (Phoenix, AZ). What were your stats/honors from last season?
Zeb Togiai: "I had 32 tackles, 4 sacks, 8 force fumbles, and 4 recoveries playing in a 3-3-5 defense."

What is your official height and weight?
"6'3, 260lbs."

What is your greatest football memory?
"My greatest football memory is playing in a great atmosphere in the rivalry game between Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista. Even though we lost, the games atmosphere was crazy."

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
"To be the best player I can be in every aspect to help my team reach their goals."

How are you preparing for the upcoming season?
Getting bigger, faster and stronger with my team and also lifting and speed training on my own with coach Chris and coach Mo."

Will you attend any camps this summer?
"Yes, my plans are to attend the Nike and camp and a few University camps."

What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve?
"Speed and quickness."

What area would you like to keep improving on?
"Quickness off the ball and staying low."

Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
"RB Marquese Wheaton, WR Marcus Wheaton, OL Gage Gorman. We have a lot of good players on our team but these are the ones you better watch out for."

Name one teammate you really respect and why?
"I really respect our QB Adel Belgaid. He is a hard working person on and off the field and in school. He does whatever he can to help this team get better. He doesn't ask for much but gives plenty."

What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
"To be a good if not a great college athlete and getting a college education will be the most important thing for me."

Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?
"Oregon State, Utah, Washington, ASU, Nebraska. And there are no offers on the table yet (Zeb also attended Colorado's junior day and will go to ASU's)."

Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
"Yes, I would love too."

What would your top 5 college choices be?
"UCLA, ASU, U of A, Washington, Oregon State."

Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
"The RB from Marcos De Niza, Harrison Evans. He is an explosive player."
What other sports do you play?
"Basketball and track and field."

What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40 yard dash?
"Bench 315lbs Squat: 405 Power Clean: 250 40 yd dash: 4.9."

How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
"I am a hard working athlete who loves to get better."

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
"My strengths would be my strength and having a nose for the football and my weakness is tending to stay high at times."

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
People can't deny hard work, hard work pays off."

Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
"Well, do you know the story that ends when the underdog comes out on top? Let's just say we are the underdogs."

What position do you think you will play in college?
"Defensive Tackle."

What can a college program expect from you as a player?
"An all around student-athlete."

What is your GPA and SAT/ACT score?
"My current GPA is a 3.2 and I have not received my SAT/ACT scores yet."

What will the main factors be when you choose a school?
"The quality of the football program."
