Travis Muller: "1st Team All Region, 2nd Team All West Valley (West Valley View), 24-7 All State."

What is your official height and weight?
"6-3 270."

What is your greatest football memory?
"My 2 yard reception (tipped pass) during our Glendale game."

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
"I want to be the best lineman in the state."

How are you preparing for the upcoming season? Will you attend any camps this summer?
"I lift daily, I will be attending a padded lineman camp and also the University of Colorado's Junior camp."

What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?
"My overall strength and speed. I would like to improve on all areas."

Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
"David Berg and Mathew Baxter."

Name one teammate you really respect and why?
"David Berg, he works harder than anyone on and off the field and in school."

What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
"I want a good education and I want football to take me there."

Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?
"ASU, Colorado, Nevada-Reno, and Army, I have received letters from many other schools. No offers yet."

Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
"YES."

What would your top 5 college choices be?
"NAU, University of Colorado, Nevada, ASU, U of A."

Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
"Craig Lacey (Glendale HS), he's a big boy – strong and hard to block."

Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
"Arcadia as a team because they execute very well."

What other sports do you play?
"Track and Field – I'm a thrower."

What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40 yard dash?
"Bench 305, Squat 500, Power clean 250, 5.0 40 Yard Dash."

How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
"Coachable."

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
"My strength is probably my quick feet and explosiveness; my weakness is that I think too much."

Who is your favorite athlete and why?
"Vincent Papale (Invincable), he's a perfect example of hard work paying off in the long run."

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
"Fools learn from their own mistakes, wise men learn from the mistakes of others."

Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
"A return trip to the playoffs, hard work, determination and to play as One Heartbeat"

What can a college program expect from you as a player?
"Hard work and willingness to do anything."

What is your GPA and SAT/ACT score?
"2.8 GPA, I haven't taken my SAT yet."

What will the main factors be when you choose a school?
"Being able to continue my football career."
