Arizona CB Evans Gets New Offer

CB Quinn Evans from Basha HS (Chandler, AZ) hit up the camps and combines this summer and it paid off as he received his second offer today.

Corner back Quinn Evans from Basha HS (Chandler, AZ) was nice enough to call and let know that he has received an offer from Northwestern. This is Evans second offer, his first is from Stanford.


The 5-9 170 pounder told Scout that he was excited to get the offer and "loves the Big 10." Evans is familiar with Big 10 country as his father was a wrestler at Wisconsin and Quinn adds, "My father grew up in Illinois so I have a lot of family there."


Evans also stressed the importance of getting a quality education and that is why he has listed Northwestern and Stanford as his two favorites. Evans scored a 1570 on his SAT and carries a 3.7 GPA.


Evans won a state championship at Hamilton HS in Chandler, AZ last year but has since transferred to Basha. Last year he recorded 64 tackles and 1 INT. he really broke unto the recruiting scene with excellent showings at the combine in San Francisco where he ran a 4.41 forty and the Nike camp at Purdue.
