Re-affirms Commitment

4-star athlete Gerell Robinson from Hamilton HS(Chandler, AZ) has publically stated that he has made up his mind on where he wants to attend college.

4-star wide receiver Gerell Robinson from Hamilton HS (Chandler, AZ) has re-affirmed his commitment to the University of Arizona.

He tells Scout.com, "You can solidify my commitment to Arizona. I just feel that's the place for me to be the best I can be."

The 6-4 220 pound Robinson committed last year on an unofficial visit but for the past few months has stated that he will still look at all options.

So what made him decide to stick with the Wildcats? "I feel more comfortable now then I did last November. I wanted to test the water and see what is out there. But when I went to the Elite Camp I decided that this is the place for me" he states.

He was asked if he planned on taking any other official visits, he says, "I wanted to take trips not to see other schools but to see other parts of the country. I want to enjoy the recruiting process and see good football games. I have other trips scheduled but I'm not sure if I will take them." He said that he had scheduled trips to Nebraska, Minnesota and Florida.

Robinson is a national top 100 player and had offers from San Diego State, Washington State, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Florida, ASU, Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado, UTEP, Minnesota, UCLA and Nebraska. Most of the schools were recruiting Robinson as an athlete or wide receiver but Robinson says that UofA wants him at, "QB all the way!"

Here are clips of Robinson from his sophomore year at Desert Vista HS (Phoenix, AZ), the last time he played QB:
