2007 Preseason DL Rankings

24-7Football.com's next position ranking comes along the DL. We actually split up the DTs and DEs and ranked them separately. See who made the preseason list here...

The defensive line is a little thin this year in Arizona. Only six players from this group hold offers and one of those is as an offensive lineman and two others are only juniors. That being said, there are some players that I firmly believe will end up playing on Saturdays but they are going to have to keep producing like they have to get schools to overlook any size limitations they may have.

Saguaro easily returns the top d-line in the state with UofA commit Chris Merrill being the leader of that group. But don't underestimate DE Derek Bisgard and DT Corey Adams. Adams along with Desert Vista's Devon Kennard will be two of the top d-line prospects in the entire country for the class of 2009, they already are holding several verbal offers.

DEs Clint Gladden and Kharyee Marshall both produced double digit sacks last year and look to match that performance.

Here is 24-7Football.com's preseason defensive line rankings. Remember these are not set in stone. I will update them a few times throughout the season. Go to the message boards and chat it up. Click here to enter chat.
