Arizona v. Colorado

Part three of 24-7Football.com's comparison of the top players from Arizona and Colorado. We move to the secondary and pit Harold Bernard against Nolan Brewster.

I continue the Arizona versus Colorado debate by comparing the two top safeties in the states, Nolan Brewster from Mullen HS in Denver and Harold Bernard from Chandler.

The 6-2 200 pound Brewster is currently a 4-star safety and listed in Scout.com's national top 100. He committed to Texas a few months ago. Before he committed he had offers from Nebraska, USC, Florida, Washington, Colorado, Colorado State, LSU, UCLA, Oregon, Illinois, Minnesota and the Longhorns. He plays more of a strong safety/outside linebacker role for Mullen. He covers a lot of ground and is not scared to stick his nose in and hit you. He is the son of University of Minnesota head coach Tim Brewster so he obviously is well coached. Here are clips of Nolan in action, he is wearing #5:

Bernard is a jack of all trades for the Wolves. I have stated in the past that the more I watch film on Harold the more I like him. He does a lot of little things right. He is intelligent, a team player and a hard worker. He is listed at 6-1 180 and is being recruited by most schools as a free safety. He currently has offers from Stanford, Oregon, Wyoming, San Diego State, Nevada, Colorado State, Air Force and Oregon State. Here are clips of Bernard, he is wearing #28:
