2007 Preseason Special Teams Rankings

It has taken some time but 24-7 has finished it's look at the postion rankings. Here is our last set before the season kicks off next week. Also linked our all of the other positions in case you missed them.

Here is the last set of preseason rankings before the season kicks off and it goes to the players that are probably the least appreciated on the field but are a vital part to winning football games... the kickers and special teams players.

Kicker

1. Jeff Locke- Mt. Ridge- 6-1 180- I don't think this pick will surprise anyone so I really don't have to explain myself. Kid has a cannon and has committed to UCLA as a punter but kicks the snot out of the ball. Was 7/11 last year with a long of 43.
2. Adam Garcia- Westview- 5-11 150- Overshadowed by Alex Zendejas last year. Went 47 of 48 on PATs and hit 5 FGs with a long of 38.
3. Chase Blasé- Salpointe- 6-0 170- The top kicker in Southern AZ, Blase went 4/7 with a long of 35 yards on FGs. He was 47 of 51 PATs and kicked a ton of kickoffs in the endzone.
