Multiple 200 yards performances highlight this week's edition of Friday Night Phenoms.

Santa Cruz's Pat Cann followed last week's 409 yard performance with a 288 yard 3 TD outing versus Fountain Hills.

Matt Fierros added another big night in the small school ranks, rushing for 260 yards and 3 TDs against Empire. The Empire defense has been hit with two big performances in the last two weeks, with Cann going for 409 against them last week.

Big night for junior RB Jeremiah Cornist from La Joya, he rushed for 276 yards and 3 scores versus Trevor Browne.

Buena's Jamal Womble has been very good all year. He added another 200 yard performance to his resume on Friday.

Brent Michaels from Havasu hit the Mohave D up for 234 yards and 3 scores.

Little Travis Huff from Coronado has been very good all year. He went for 200 yards again this year against Kellis.

Junior Mike Brown from Cactus continues to impress, he rushed for 172 yards and 2 scores.

In a loss to Mesa, Westview's Reggie Nicholson scored 4 times. He returned a kickoff for a score, had 122 yards receiving for 2 TDs and added 91 yards on the ground and another TD.

Our state's leading passer to this point is Josh Cain from Desert Ridge. He had another 300 yard performance, going for 316 yards and 3 TDs against Sunrise Mountain. He also added another 3 TDs on the ground.

Saguaro QB Tim Ruben continues to run the Sabercat spread offense to perfection, he accounted for 5 TDs, 4 passing and 1 rushing.

Not to be outdone was Mesa QB Tony Gallegos. He accounted for 4 TDs against Westview.

Applause to Blake Schembri from Chaparral, he filled in for starter Spencer Stone on one day's notice and passed for 271 yards and 3 TDs against AJ.

189 of those yards went to Mike Cummings, who added one more TD to his total on the year.

Harrison Evens gets a lot of the press but Donald Richardson from Marcos was superb, accounting for 189 yards of offense and 4 TDs.

I like what JJ Strickland from Chino Valley did defensively. He recorded 12 tackles and 3 sacks against Parker.

And last but not least, the Ironwood Ridge D was great, holding Casa Grande to just 29 yards of total offense.
