Cox 7 Highlights

Cox 7 brings us clips from CDO/Cienega and Mingus/O'Connor

Every week the Cox 7 staff work their hardest to bring quality football to their viewers and give recognition to our local student-athletes. After every game, the staff at Cox hooks us up with a highlight reel of plays from their most recent games. I compile the footage in a story each week and by the time the season ends we will have a very cool media gallery of the games brought to us by Cox 7 on Thursday and Friday nights.

Cienega and Canyon del Oro battled it out down in Tucson. CDO came out victorious but I want you to check out Cienega's John Wells' hit early in this footage:

A battle of perennial 5A powers took place last week when Brophy and Mt. View battled it out. Brophy held off Mt. View to give the Toros their first loss. Here are those clips:

One of the oldest rivalries in Arizona took place last Thursday when Tempe and McClintock faced off. The Chargers won this defensive battle and here are clips from the game:

Centennial and Hamilton played in one of the state's most anticipated games. Hamilton prevailed but the Coyotes put up a good fight. if you missed any of that game, here are the highlights (check out the punt return by Jarrell Barbour and the juke Nathan Jeffries puts on a Centennial defender to get in the endzone).
