Many student-athletes get caught up in signing on national signing day and few realize that scholarships can still be offered and kids do sign well after signing day.
This is the case for Sandra Day O'Connor athlete Bruce "Bubba" Eisenhauer.
Eisenhauer's father tells us, "Bubba committed to Cornell over Southern Virginia, Benedictine, Redlands and South Dakota State on May 1st. He held out until the last day. It was a tough decision for him but he is comfortable with his choice. He also had academic scholarships with preferred walk on status to NAU and BYU that came in late."
He adds that Eisenahuer (6-5 210) has been told that he will have the opportunity to compete for the QB spot next year.
