ScoutTV: Shad Bride

24-7Football.com presents junior highlights of St. Johns RB/LB Shad Bride, last year's small school player of the year.

St. Johns has traditionally been a power in Arizona's small ball ranks. Last year was no different as the won the 2A state title by defeating Arizona Luthern.

The workhorse on that team was RB/LB Shad Bride.

Bride (5-11 195) was named 1st team All Arizona by the Arizona Republic and was the 3A-1A Player of the Year after rushing for 2,100 yards and scoring an amazing 40 touchdowns.

The vast majority of players that move on to play division-one football come from the 4A1 division and up but Bride has several schools showing interest.

Northern Arizona, Cal, Duke, Stanford and Goergia Tech have been in the most contact and he has been receiving mail regularly from UNLV, Princeton, Harvard, Brown, Columbia, Arizona, Alabama, Utah, Colorado State, New Mexico and New Mexico State but he does not have an offer at this point.
