Baby Sapp? was on hand to see DT Derrick Nsubuga in some one on one's.

At 5-11 260, the body size alone will draw comparisons to Warren Sapp. Now don't get me wrong, I am not annointing Chaparral DT Derrick Nsubuga the next Sapp but the kid can play.

Last year, Nsubuga used his high motor to record 52 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

It is not uncommon to see squatty DTs on a college roster. Sedrick Ellis from USC was just a shade above six foot. Anthony McFarland has made a nice career in the NFL. College coaches coming into evaluate Craig Roh have told head coach Charlie Ragle that he has a chnace to play college football somewhere. What level that is at is still up in the air. But we were able to go out and see Nsubuga first hand in some one on one drills at Chaparral this spring.

Here is a link to those clips:

Nsubuga will be participating in the Under Armour/ Phoenix Combine on May 24th.
