Air Force Recruiting Arizona Hard

The Air Force Academy has really hit Arizona hard in the Spring evaluation period. Prior to today, the had extended offers to three Arizona prospects. And today alone, the staff offered three more.

We reported a few hours ago that AFA offered Saguaro OT Kody Koebensky. was contacted by Gilbert TE/DT Drew Swartz and Brophy DT Mike Tree and both were offered this evening.

Swartz (6-4 240) notified us via text message, "Air Force offered me." This is his first offer. He is also hearing from Stanford, UNLV, Arizona State, Washington and Washington State amongst others.

Last year he recorded 65 tackles, 7 sacks and 1 INT as a DT and was named 1st team all region. He dad 3 catches for 33 yards as a TE and was named honorable mention all region. In addition, he was nominated for the 5A1 Fiesta Region's Two-Way Player of the Year, despite missing some time with a broken leg.

Tree (6-2 230) helped Brophy to the 5A1 state title behind 52 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

Tree's father confirmed the offer a few minutes ago. This is also Tree's first offer. He is also hearing from Stanford, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, SMU, Princeton, Harvard, Dartmouth, Brown and Columbia.
