Three broken records in this week's edition of Friday Night Phenoms

Player of the Week

 

*I want to congratulate Gilbert head coach Jesse Parker for becoming the state's leader in career wins. He got his 309th win against Highland on Friday night.

*Yuma Catholic QB Matt Inman broke two records on Friday. He became the state's all time leader in passing yards and TDs. He currently has 8,387 yard and 100 TDs to his name.

 

Quarterbacks

 

*Red Mountain's Derek Molina rushed the ball for 214 yards and 3 scores versus Dobson and had 2 passing TDs.

*Mt. Ridge's Kevin Yost has been a regular on the Phenoms list. He passed for 333 yards and 4 scores.

*Pearce Swerdfeger from Deer Valley had 290 yards passing, 4 TDs and 1 rushing TD in their win over Goldwater.

 

Running Backs

 

*Salpointe's Christian Ramirez had 21 carries for 202 yards and 2 scores against Casa Grande.

*Sahuarita's Allonte Singfield had 220 yards and 2 Tds in their loss to Pueblo.


*CDO's Griffin Ronstadt makes the list for the second week in a row after carrying the rock 23 times for 193 yards and 4 TDs against Cholla.

 

*Valley Christian RB Blake Argo was huge in their upset of NWCC, rushing the ball 13 times for 184 yards and 4 TDs.

*Another regular to the list has been Kaylin Ashley from Coronado. He rushed for 265 yards and 2 TDs on just 13 carries against Seton.

*Desert Ridge's Chris Jamison had 12 carries for 176 yards and 3 TDs against Pinnacle. He also had 3 catches for 95 yards and a score.

*Corona RB Michael Lange went for 201 yards and 2 scores versus Mt. Pointe.

*The combination of Beau Burton and Austin Swindle had 12 carries for 260 yards and 5 TDs in Saguaro's win over AJ.

*Mesa RB Jaymen Green had 77 yards rushing and took an INT and punt to the house versus Central.

*South Mountain's Aaron Hardwick had 273 yards and 2 TDs in their win over North.

*Willow Canyon's Micah Pete reached paydirt 5 times versus Valley Vista.

*Prescott RB Brian Scates had 288 yards rushing and 5 TDs against T-Bird.

 

Receivers

 

*Adam Hall makes it again for Palo Verde. He had 6 catches for 101 yards, 4 rushes for 76 yards and scored 3 times against Catalina.

 

*SCA's Brent Miller had 4 catches for 89 yards and 2 scores and rushed the ball 5 times for 118 yards and a TD.

 

*Markus Wheaton had 195 all purpose yards in the first half against Mesquite.

*Trevor Browne's Demetrius Baugh had 8 catches for 157 yards and 2 TDs in their win over Alhambra.

Defense

 

*Cienega DB David Abeyta picked off two passes in their huge win over Sabino.

*NT Orlando arriagi from Tolleson had 12 tackles, 3 for a loss and a sack against Sunrise.

*North Canyon's Roland Pierce had 3 INTs, two of which he returned for TDs, against Maryvale.
