Weber State may have pulled off the biggest steal thus far in Arizona high school recruiting when they got a commitment from Desert Vista defensive end Danny Mullarkey recently.
Mullarkey (6-3 220), ranked the #102 DE nationally by Scout.com, confirmed the news with 24-7Football.com today.
He comments, "I felt like I fit in perfectly with the coaching staff and players on my visit."
Danny previously had offers from Washington, Colorado State, Idaho and Air Force but saw the UW offer fall through when the staff was let go and CSU pulled when they received another commitment. But their loss is Weber State's gain as Danny really liked his visit to Weber. Mullarkey was also offered by South Dakota State.
Mullarkey recorded 55 tackles and 10.5 sacks for the Thunder this year and was all-region on both sides of the ball.
