First Offer for Saguaro Tackle

Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro OT Kody Innes looks to continue tradition

Scottsdale Saguaro has a long tradition of producing quality players along the offensive and defensive lines. The tradition dates back to Kyle Caldwell and has been carried along by Derek Bisgard, Chris Merrill, Joe Kellogg, Corey Adams and Kody Koebensky more recently.

Well it will continue on with the 2010 class as offensive tackle Kody Innes reports to 24-7Football.com that he has received his first offer. Innes tells us just moments after it happened, "Just letting you know that Arizona State just offered me."

He adds, "Coach Sanders (Saguaro head coach) just told me to come to his office. when I went he handed me the phone and it was Coach Stretz who gave me to Coach Erickson. He said he liekd my film and that they just called to offer me."

The 6-4 280 pound Innes is also hearing from most of the other Pac 10 schools and Boise State.
