Our first week of action had plenty of excitment. Who stood out?

Player of the Week

Kellis' Traveon Freeman scored 5 TDs in their win over Glendale.


Brophy soph Chase Knox went 18 for 30 for 197 yards and 2 scores in the Broncos' win over Deer Valley.

Mike Massey from Milennium has 8 of 11 for 195 yards and 3 TDs in their win over Fairfax.

Liberty's Keegan Whipkey scored five times in their win over Sunrise.

In small ball, JT Maner from Mogollon had 3 passing TDs and 2 rushing helping his team roll Valley Luthern.


Mountain Pointe's DeAndre Currie rushed for 190 yards and 3 TDs on just 13 carries in their win over Dobson. In the same game, Dobson's Terrance Martin rushed for 172 yards and a TD.

ASU commit Taylor Walstad from Chandler averaged over 10 ypc, rushing for 125 yards and 2 TDs against Skyline.

Red Mountain's Derek Molina had 175 yards on the ground and scored once. He also had a kick off return for a TD against Westwood.

AJ's Nate Scola rushed fr 124 yards and 3 TDs against Bradshaw.

Marquis Flowers rushed for 129 yards and 2 TDs on just 8 carries versus Fairfax.

Two big rushers in the Arizona Luthern/South Pointe game. AA's Ben Grans rushed for 284 yards and 3 TDs. Shawn Bailey rushed for 269 yards and 3 TDs in South Pointe's losing effort.


Marcos' D held Marana Mt. View to 54 yards of total offense.

The NWCC defense had 2 safeties against Bourgade.
