Scout.com has confirmed that Scottsdale (Az.) Chaparral OT Andre Yruretagoyena has received two new offers.
Chaparral head coach tells us the news just minutes after it happened, "Arizona called me and offered and the staff at Michigan called this morning and said they loved his highlight tape and were going to go back and watch the full games. They called me a few minutes after Arizona did and offered as well. Andre is a very good player for us and is going to be one of the most recruited players in the state next year."
South Dakota State was Yruretagoyena's (6-5 255) first offer, coming in earlier this week.
An excited Andre tells us how he feels about getting these offers, "I am in awe. I'm just like 'Wow.' The transformation I've made since last year was the main reason if have gotten this attention. Taylor Lewan talked to me on the first day of spring ball and he completely changed how I looked at the sport. I couldn't thank Coach Ragle and my line coach, Coach Ruby, more for everything they have done for me over the past year."
See what all the hype is about below in his junior highlights:
Andre describes himself as a "nasty" player that is good at drive blocking and finishing his blocks. This off-season he says he wants to work on his technique and his pass protection. Yruretagoyena benches 300, squats 420 and maintains a 3.0 GPA.
