Danell Miles:
"84 Tackles, 4 interceptions and 1 FR. 1st Team All Region DB and earned my 3rd varsity football letter."

What is your official height and weight?
6'0 190.

What is your greatest football memory?
When I recovered the fumble against Aqua Fria and returned it 60 yards for a TD.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?
To lead the state in tackles at Safety, get more INTs and to help my team make the playoffs and hopefully make it to State.

How are you preparing for the upcoming season?
I have been training hard since the season ended with my trainer working on my speed and my explosiveness.

Will you attend any camps this summer?
Yes I have about 12 schools who have ask me to attend their camp but I ‘m only going to get to maybe 5 of them and Nike has also sent me an invite.

What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve?
My break away quickness.

What area would you like to keep improving on?
Speed.

Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
All of them, they are a lot of good players on my team.

Name one teammate you really respect and why?
Shane Simmons he is a hard worker when it comes to training and always puts out a 100% on the field.

What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
To get a degree, work hard and to try and make to the next level.

Who is currently recruiting you?
I was invited to junior day at U of Arizona and Fresno State, Colorado and Utah have asked for more game film and several schools said they will be coming to see me this spring.

Do you have any offers yet?
Don't want to say until I know that they are solid.

Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
Yes.

What would your top 5 college choices be?
U of Arizona, Fresno, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Oklahoma.

Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
Randy Hale (Buckeye), he was a good route runner.

Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
Notre Dame Prep seem to be well disciplined and coached .

What other sports do you play?
Basketball

What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40 yard dash?
Bench 225lbs squat 380lbs clean 230lbs 40 4.55

How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
Very good football player and a good game IQ.

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
Good ball hawk skills on D and need to improve on speed.

Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Don't have just one; Ronnie Lott, Champ Bailey, Troy Polamalu. They were and are beasts.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
That life is what you make it and there are no short cuts when it comes to being a good athlete it takes hard work and dedication.

A team player and hard worker.

Not sure of GPA taking SAT May 1.
