In the world of football recruiting things change quickly, rarely do you hear of a more hectic day then three-star Peoria Centennial linebacker Jebron Harrington had.
Harrington reported to 24-7Football.com a few months ago that he had been given an offer from Arizona State and this morning he reported a commitment to the Sun Devils. There must have been some confusion as it turned out that Harrington never received an official offer, so Harrington, after speaking with San Diego State DB Coach Tony White (who recruits AZ for SDSU), he opted to become an Aztec.
Wanting to eliminate any confusion, Harrington confirmed with Coach White that the offer was official. Harrington, who had 39 tackles and 7.5 sacks last season, says San Diego State is recruiting him as an athlete, he says the Aztecs think he could play rover or running back.
The Aztecs were the first team to offer Harrington and with the confusion now out of the way Harrington says he is ready to, "I am an Aztec and now I can focus on my football season and school."
