Tigers and Razorbacks lead for OL Jonathan Luigs

One of the top prospects in the state of Arkansas regardless of position, Pulaski Academy OL Jonathan Luigs is a force to be reckoned with. Find out what he has to say about the home state Razorbacks.

One of the top prospects in the state of Arkansas regardless of position, Pulaski Academy OL Jonathan Luigs is a force to be reckoned with. At a nimble 6'4 295, Jonathan posesses all of the attributes you look for in an offensive lineman. He has quick feet which is evident from his 4.9 forty and 4.63 shuttle time. Big, quick, strong, and agile, Luigs can play any position along the offensive line. Jonathan started every game at center his sophomore year and last year as a junior he started every game at tackle. Luigs is a dominating pass blocker and is equally effective as a run blocker, he graded out at 90% or better in every game last year.

At the moment Jonathan has an offer on the table from LSU and is expecting another from Arkansas later this week. The home state Razorbacks and LSU will be the teams to beat for Luigs' services, while Iowa and Georgia still have an outside shot. When asked what he was looking for in a school Luigs stated "Academics, that will carry me on in life, tradition, and location, I want my parents and friends to be able to see me play."

Although Jonathan already has one offer and probably several more on the way he doesn't anticipate making a commitment any time soon, "I want to take my visits, and enjoy the process."

A true student athlete Jonathan will have no problem becoming a full academic qualifier, with an impressive 3.7 GPA and a 21 on the ACT.
