Fayetteville knocks off Springdale; Rogers 5-0

Fayetteville held off Springdale to win the 104th Battle of the Bulldogs at Harmon Field. Upsets were not common, but a big one took place with Sheridan besting Pine Bluff, 27-8.

Jonesboro 37, Jacksonville 6 – Cowan Hutson 185 yards and Jim Harris tops it off with 125 more rushing yards
Benton 38, Lake Hamilton 28 – Justin Ray finds Josh Curtis for clinching TD as Wolves lose their first game of '03
Camden Fairview 34, Watson Chapel 15 – Charles Grant runs for two 20-yard touchdowns and returns punt 58
Texarkana 20, El Dorado 16 – Brandon Barnett runs for 117 yards on 28 carries and scores to put AHS up 20-10
Sheridan 27, Pine Bluff 8 – Yellowjackets accept five turnovers and lead 27-0 before Zebras score in final period
