This kid played for the Santa Clarita Wildcats last year as a RB /Receiver/ Safety. Just wondering if anyone has heard of him and know where he will be attending High School. He was a FBU All - American selection at wideout.
Well GAHOPKA1, did you find out? Or are you just a smart a$$ loser? I understand that sometimes these forums need some comedy, but that "well dad" comment is burnt out. I was just asking if anyone knew what high school the kid will be attending.
Yeah that kid can really make some unbelievable catches. I saw him play against my son's team and saw game film against others. Not really big, at least not last season, but just has sick- hand eye talent.
This is funny I just saw this on google I am Trenton Irwins dad. Hart, Cathedral, Oaks, Alemany And many other fine schools are in the running if they will have us. But to be honest we don't know if most of these schools are interest I have contacted all of them but they don't say much. It won't be till next june when the choice is made. It will be made on were he will have the best high school experience not just football.
No doubt they are phenoms and have continued a great tradition at Valencia. In fact, I think Manfro may go down as the best RB ever at VHS... Which is a huge statement considering the talent that has come through there over the years.
Valencia's offense has been putting up great numbers before Bishop and Manfro were around.
Manuel White was the area's all-time leading rusher when he graduated.
Michael Herrick is still the state's all-time leader in passing yards.
Numerous offensive players have moved on to play college football on scholarship...
Manuel White (UCLA), Ray Cassaday (UCLA), Charles Burnley (Oregon State), Michael Herrick (N. Arizona) , Shane Vereen (Cal), Shane Morales (Oregon State), Graham Wilbert (Florida Atlantic).
All of these players were explosive offensive players and came before the two phenoms currently playing.
There was life before the two current all-stars.
What was life like at Saugus prior to Zirbel and Rodriguez???
Here's a write-up on Irwin from today's Glendale News Press: http://www.glendalenewspress.c...0,3434163.story Bottom line: "I don't really know [where I will go to high school in the fall], but I have a lot of options. Maybe Cathedral, maybe Hart, maybe Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks, Chaminade or Oaks Christian."
Most kids at this level are 13 years old and from the games I have seen in Ventura county he would not be wide open. With Santa Clarita's double wing it must have been a shock to see a pass that often and caught the D off guard. Has good hands and skill but I don't think SB, WL or OC are in his future. The freshman at his age are studs on these teams and are big (170 lbs), tall (6'2), fast (4.6) and can run over LBs/CBs.
